Betsy Best Martini 
Betsy Best Martini is a Recreation Therapist who has been working with older adults for the past 18 years. She
teaches two "Living History" classes through the College of Marin. Her classes have corresponded with
Russian Pen Pals, Armed Forces Personnel abroad and even the President of the United States.
In addition to these classes, Betsy teaches a training course for individuals interested in becoming Activity Professionnals
in Long Term Care Settings. She is co-author of the critically received training manual Long Term Care. This book
is being used nationally and internationally and is now in its second printing.
Betsy and her husband John live in Fairfax with a menagerie of animals that includes two pygmy goats, two cats
and three fish.
