SCHEDULE AND TUITION Fall 2008 August 19- December 5, 2008 Spring 2009 January 20-May 15, 2009 Application Fee: $50.00/for F1 students Semester Tuition: $2,500.00/2,325.00 (for full-time program) THE SCHEDULE OF OFFERINGS Fall 2008, Spring 2009 Please click on the above schedule you are interesed in for listing THE CLASSES Classes are small with approximately 15 students in each. They meet for 20 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday. Classes are divided into three levels: (Students have had at least one year of academic English or the equivalent.) Level I: High Beginning/Low Intermediate Level II: Intermediate Level III: High Intermediate/Advanced Students are placed in these levels on the basis of tests, interviews, and writing samples administered during the first week. The flexible schedule allows students to have classes in different levels according to their ability. CLASSES meet Tuesday through Friday, 20 hours a week, for 16 weeks. Testing and placement take place during the first week. there is a $50 application fee for F1 students. NEW! Credit ESL classes for Noncredit students: You can now take credit ESL classes through the Community Education Open College program (which are not given for credit and are not graded). Credit classes cover intermediate to advanced level English skills. The fees are $268 for 3-unit ESL classes, $324 for 4-unit classes, and $380 for 5-unit classes.
